We provide survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence with free, confidential support—including immediate crisis assistance, guidance through medical and legal processes, and counseling.

Our team partners with over 100 community organizations to educate youth and adults about healthy relationships, while also offering resources, referrals, and operating a 24/7 helpline.

Housing

24 YWCA DE families were permanently housed in 2024

Our Emergency and Transitional Housing offers shelter and support to individuals and families as they recover from trauma, build life skills, pursue stable employment, and secure permanent housing. Our Home-Life Management Center in Wilmington provides 28 dorm-style units and 10 apartments, with wraparound case management services and community health resources. Over 5,000 healthy meals are prepared annually in our commercial kitchen for residents during their stay.

Our Community Housing addresses the shortage of emergency shelter beds by providing Diversion, Rapid Rehousing, and Housing Vouchers to help families either remain in or transition to stable housing.
