Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy
A unique opportunity for healing, connection and growth
Horses offer a unique, calming way to support healing and connection. Through Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, survivors can explore trust, healthy boundaries, communication and self-connection in a safe, supportive environment.
Horses are highly responsive to body language and emotions. Through hands-on activities and interactions with the horses, participants can explore feelings, relationships and communication without judgment or pressure.
This group is designed to help survivors build confidence, connection and resilience—one step at a time.
What to Expect
All activities with the horses take place on the ground—no riding is involved. Participants will engage in activities that encourage connection, communication, trust and self-awareness.
Children ages 13 and older may attend with a parent or legal guardian.
Sessions are held rain or shine, so please dress accordingly and wear closed-toe shoes.
