About Lisa Forever, LMSW, MSCJ
Chief Housing & Community Impact Officer
Lisa Forever currently serves as Chief Housing & Community Impact Officer at YWCA Delaware, where she oversees case management, housing readiness, client services, and partnerships that strengthen outcomes for families and communities. A passionate advocate for housing and human rights, she believes it is an inherent right that every individual—regardless of gender—deserves the chance to reach their full potential.
Her professional journey spans more than two decades in housing, human services, and nonprofit leadership. Before joining YWCA Delaware, Lisa managed the Centralized Intake Program at Housing Alliance Delaware, advised on housing and homelessness systems through her consulting work with NOESIS Case Management & Consulting, and supported veterans as Vice President of the Interfaith Veterans Group Board of Directors. She has also served for more than ten years on the Board of Directors of STEHM, Inc., advancing transitional housing and support services in the community.
Lisa earned both her Master of Science in Criminal Justice (MSCJ) and her Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Colorado Technical University, graduating summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA. She also holds credentials in business administration, human development, and substance abuse counseling from Walden University, Delaware Technical and Community College, and Catholic Charities.
Her leadership and commitment have been widely recognized. In May 2025 she received the Community Advocate & Matriarch Award from the New Castle County Council and is also a recipient of the National Conference of Community and Justice Builders Award and the Public Allies Leaders of Tomorrow Award.
