About Becca Cotto
Director of Community Engagement
Becca Cotto has been working with YWCA Delaware since 2018. She currently serves as YWCA Delaware’s Director of Community Engagement where she leads initiatives that inspire advocacy, awareness, and action to advance YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.
Becca is best known for creating spaces where meaningful conversations can take root and grow into lasting change. She hosts YWCA Delaware’s monthly Let’s Talk series, a dynamic panel discussion platform where Delawareans share professional, academic, volunteer, and lived experiences on pressing social and public issues. These conversations increase community awareness and encourage collaborative solutions to challenges facing local communities.
In addition, Becca organizes annual book studies, candidate forums, voter registration drives, YW Leader trips to Legislative Hall, and advocacy action alerts.
Beyond her work at YWCA Delaware, Becca has been civically engaged in shaping Delaware’s future, including running for State Representative in District 6. She brings that same passion for public service into her role, ensuring that community voices are heard and that advocacy efforts have a lasting impact.
