Chief Financial Officer
Aseia is an accomplished financial strategist with more than two decades of experience leading financial operations across nonprofit organizations in the social service, healthcare, and behavioral health sectors. Her expertise centers on strengthening financial infrastructure, guiding teams through complex reimbursement environments, and ensuring that organizations maintain accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements. As both a systems thinker and hands‑on problem solver, Aseia is known for her ability to translate financial data into clear operational insights and has become a trusted leader for organizations committed to serving vulnerable communities.
Since 2015, Aseia has served as Controller for Brandywine Counseling in Wilmington, Delaware, a behavioral health organization supporting nearly 3,000 clients. As the first Controller in the organization’s history, she led transformative change during a period of rapid growth, introducing accounting automation, strengthening audit processes, and building a transparent budgeting system. Her work has directly enhanced the organization’s ability to serve clients with stability and confidence.
Before joining Brandywine Counseling, Aseia held key financial leadership roles at Connections CSP, the Ministry of Caring, Planned Parenthood of Chester County, and Women Against Abuse. In each role, she modernized accounting systems, strengthened compliance, improved audit outcomes, and built financial processes that supported large, multi‑site operations serving tens of thousands of individuals across Delaware and Pennsylvania.
Aseia holds an MBA from the University of Delaware and a B.S. in Accounting from Shaw University. She is also a trained tax preparation specialist with expertise in small business and individual filings. Her professional affiliations include Cambridge Who’s Who, and she has served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the North Hill Community Group.
