Kira Branch, Psy.D. (Pediatric psychologist @Nemours/A.I. duPont Hospital for Children)
Dr. Branch graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (2006) and from La Salle University with a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology, Concentration in Child and Family Psychology (2015). Dr. Branch completed her doctoral internship at the May Institute in Massachusetts and her postdoctoral fellowship at Nemours/A.I. duPont Hospital for Children. Dr. Branch specializes in pediatric specialty care psychology, working with children and adolescents diagnosed with chronic medical conditions and those who experience somatic/physical symptoms related to anxiety, mood, and life stressors. Dr. Branch is an active member of the Nemours Division of Behavioral Health Diversity Committee and is passionate about providing evidence-based, culturally relevant services to children and families of color.
Danika S. Perry, Psy.D. (Pediatric Psychologist @Nemours Alfred I duPont Hospital for Children)
Dr. Perry graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana, in New Orleans and earned her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her fellowship training in Clinical Health Psychology at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Flint, MI. She joined the Division of Psychology at Nemours in 2015, and supports her medical colleagues by providing evidenced based integrated behavioral health care to children, teens, and their families in rural DE. In 2017 and 2019 she helped to lead the development of the biannual Downstate Community Behavioral Health conference geared towards children and youth in Kent and Sussex counties of DE. She is the Diversity and Inclusion Advisor for the Division of Psychology, and an active member of the Diversity committee. She is Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College has taught as an adjunct psychology professor at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Meghan Walls, Psy.D. (Pediatric Psychologist @Nemours/A.I. duPont Hospital for Children)
Dr. Walls holds an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics with Sydney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Walls completed her doctorate degree in clinical psychology at LaSalle University, residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and fellowship at Nemours/AI duPont Hospital for Children. Dr. Walls provides services at Nemours duPont Pediatrics in Wilmington, with focus on social determinants of health, understanding toxic stress, and positive parenting. She currently serves as the Advocacy and Media Leads in the division. In 2019, she was selected for the Nemours Physician Excellence in Community Service Award as well as the award for 2019 NAMI Delaware Healthcare Professional of the Year. She also received the Delaware KidsCOUNT 2020 professional leader/volunteer award for advocating for Delaware’s children.
