2017 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Communication Contest



On Sunday, January 15th, YWCA Delaware and Christ Church Christiana Hundred presented the 2017 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Communication Contest at the baby grand. At this opportunity for our youth to be heard, 7 New Castle County high school students reflected on and shared with their community how Dr. King's message of social change through nonviolence speaks to their hopes and dreams. The 3 top finalists were:

Cab Calloway School of Performing Arts (Grade 9)
