Women's March on Delaware

Watch the YWCA's Director of Racial Justice & Social Advocacy's remarks and call for solidarity.
YWCA’s Director of Racial Justice & Social Advocacy, Matt Pillischer, helped wrap up the Women’s March in Newark on Saturday, January 21st with a call for solidarity. More than 1,000 people came out for the sister march and stayed for the end rally. Overflow marchers were able to watch speakers via Facebook Live, thanks to the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Newark.

Want to continue the fight? Join our action-oriented response network of people who support those who have been harmed by acts of hate in Delaware. Our inaugural open meeting is Tuesday, February 21st at 7:00 pm at the First Unitarian Church of Wilmington where all are welcome.

If interested in joining this network, let us know on Facebook or email us at mpillischer@ywcade.org.
