YWCA Delaware announces a change in leadership for 2016.
YWCA Delaware announces a change in leadership with the Board of Directors’ appointment of Stephanie Staats as our new Chief Executive Officer. With deep appreciation, YWCA will say goodbye to Michelle Basham on January 22nd as she has accepted a position as Executive Director of The Bridge for Youth in her home state of Minnesota.
Ms. Staats has more than 20 years of experience working in the Delaware nonprofit sector. Prior to joining YWCA Delaware, she worked at the Delaware Community Foundation, Delaware Humanities Forum and others along with serving on numerous boards and task forces throughout her career. Ms. Staats has dedicated the past 10 years to YWCA Delaware, starting in late 2004 as Director of Economic Advancement and most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer for the past two years.
Supporters are invited to attend a farewell reception for Ms. Basham from 3:30-5:30 pm on Wednesday, January 20th in room 105 at the Community Services Building, 10th & Orange Streets, Wilmington.
