Take a Stand Against Racism with YWCA Delaware as we unite with thousands on Thursday, April 23, 2015!
Stand Against Racism with YWCA Delaware as we unite with thousands
of YWCA's and their communities on Thursday, April 23, 2015.
Not sure how you can take a Stand?
It's simple. Here are some ideas:
| • Organize your Stand at school, work, church, neighborhood, etc.
| • Put the “Stand Against Racism” logo on your web site or social media
| • Wear an orange shirt, ribbon or button
| • Sign a “Pledge Against Racism” poster or proclamation
| • Hang or handout flyers
| • Gather for a fifteen minute discussion or a moment of silence
| • Organize an outdoor rally carrying signs that state "We Stand Against Racism," "No More Racial Profiling" and/or "Racism Hurts Everyone"
You can be as creative or practical as you wish, so long as you choose to take a Stand!
Participation is FREE! Sign up to participate in this year's
Stand Against Racism and share what you are planning to do for your Stand.
